Ramsey Island

Ramsey Island, an RSPB reserve, lies a mile offshore. The warm climate and nutrient rich waters of the Celtic Deep provide sanctuary to a wide spectrum of wildlife. Such is the biodiversity that this area has been designated a Special Area of Conservation (SAC).

Dolphins
Pods of up to 500 dolphins are very common, and when they choose to follow the boats they are only a few inches away from you.

Ramsey Island
There are plenty of boat trips which circumnavigate Ramsey Island, incorporating the dramatic sea caves and sailing through the narrow rock gorges, looking for Atlantic Grey Seals and Harbour Porpoise, along with a multitude of both migrating and nesting seabirds.
